When I saw this laptop, was the time alarm. Then I was angry at the slow it ran. But decided for some reason, ASUS, a garbage bag are useless. For example, including a software DVD player for laptop, which has no optical . Now I know who paid for software developers to create a version of the software on their computers, but this is a bit 'too much. So I installed Ubutnu from USB stick (you can select for thisalmost everything, and the load is Ubutnu free and legal) and I finally had a laptop that can actually well enough to surf the Internet preformed / documents / text editing etc. If you want instructions on how to install [...] Ubutnu: note in search instructions * This is probably not for novice users. If you are a bit 'familiarity with Windows, and is Have to monitor a different , with food, or print out the instructions, you should be good. If you are not all that easywith computers can follow these directions groped your laptop no longer works, in which case you need a repair tech to pay for solving problems.

that, like most (with large SATA hard drives) expensive.
handles most of the streaming video properly (Hulu, HQ on youtube, if it is not HD …)
and even 720p HD video (not streaming 720p, for a flash of software restriction).

But using this special version of the One (Acer One AOA110) SSD slow.
is this particular SSD write speedvery slowly, with pauses at random used during intense.
Its write speed low slows almost everything, including web browsing.

      I read the average scores on this elsewhere.

I bought it because it is one of the few 10.1 "netbook with a 1366x768 resolution (instead of 1024x600 which is normal for this format). I was fascinated because the resolution more and more screens means you get on a page. Usually it is better for navigation , word processing, etc.

      I had written about this elsewhere mean score.

I bought it because it is one of the few 10.1 's' netbooks with 1366x768 resolution (1024x600 instead of the normal for this format). This fascinated me because it means higher resolution, the more you get to a page. In general, it is better for browsing, word processing, etc.

It broke after less than three months and Sony refused to repair under warranty.

Fragile garbage. Stay away unless you like burning one-hundred dollars.
