Sony Ericsson W950i - Stylish 3G Touchscreen Phone
The Sony Ericsson W950i is a stylish 3G touchscreen Symbian OS 9.1 UIQ 3 smartphone with dedicated music.
The W950 has the same physical design (form factor), such as the Sony Ericsson M600i. The M600 better for business users, the amount of text - it is a dual-function QWERTY keyboard.
The main advantages incluce its music player, FM radio, headphone and large phone memory. There's no hardware QERTY keyboard, camera or memory card slot on the W950i.
The keyboard has a flatkey players. There is a small round raised in the middle of the two main points to give the user a tactile feedback. The numbers and letters have a white backlight.
It's not a touch pad, allowing you to feel the buttons below. Some will perhaps many people do not like the keyboard. It has a 12-key alphanumeric keypad with a orange - limited Walkman button and a delete button. The keyboard has 2 modes - phone mode and a walkman mode.
As a Walkman mode, 3 icons light up at the top of the keyboardshows how to use the first three buttons on the keyboard. These buttons act like before, play / stop and next keys. From surfing the Internet, the W950i is a 2.6 - inch is 240 x 320 pixel color display, 3G Internet access and the Opera Web browser landscape view mode offers a fantastic browsing.
Opera 8 Mobile zoom feature is good for people who have trouble reading small text. Zoom ratio of 20% to 200% available. Opera 8 Other useful features are to save bookmarks, page,Pop-up Blocker, information, secure site support, password and download manager.
Many good properties are displayed - a mood, a track, shuffle the songs, create a playlist, equalizer, rate the tracks, pre-or. Rewind within a song (using button 1 a.m. to 3 p.m., or drag your finger / stylus along the track progress bar).
You can sort songs by title, file size, play count, rating, view tracks by mood, artist, albums, playlists and pictures.
The W950 is an excellent music playerPhone with a few interface quirks. The keyboard is for entering numbers, not good for the text OK - you have in your key presses to be exact - increased the target for dimples on each key.
If you love your music and want something a bit cheaper, a look at some of the other Sony Walkman phones.
